The group explores parts of London accessible by a One Day Travel Card (Zones 1 - 6) taking the first train out of Dartford Station after 9.30. The walks vary in length, but on average are about 6 miles at a reasonable pace. Members are encouraged to volunteer to organise walks for the group. Information on each walk will usually be in the monthly newsletter, including meeting points and times, as well as refreshment arrangements and approximate length of the walk. Group members should be prepared to participate in a minimum of 4 of the 12 walks per year. Members, once settled into the group, are encouraged to volunteer to organise walks.
